2025 PEACH Congressional Action Program

The 2025 PEACH Congressional Action Program in Washington D.C. is your opportunity to help shape the policy priorities in the new Congress and share your perspectives as community safety-net hospitals with your congressional delegation.

With a new administration in the White House and both chambers of Congress controlled by the President’s party, Medicare, Medicaid, and other health care programs and payments to providers will be eyed with a view toward finding budget savings.  In the coming two years at least, we will continue to work to avoid cuts to Medicaid DSH payments and we will push for a federal recognition of safety-net hospitals that will offer shelter from harmful policies and open the door to federal investments in the work you do.  We expect an uphill battle to protect and preserve the health care safety net.
